Travellers returning to Canada, you are at high risk of spreading COVID-19.
You are required by law to self-isolate for 14-days. DO NOT visit any stores, family or friends. 
Everyone should stay home to stop the spread.

Canadians who do not comply with the mandatory immediate 14-day self-quarantine are in breach of the federal Quarantine Act. Maximum penalties include a fine of up to $750,000 and six months in jail. Read more.

Should you require supplies, have a family/friend pick them up and drop them off at your doorstep. Upon arriving home take all precautions to ensure the virus does not enter your living space (clothes in the wash, shower, gargle with an anti-septic, wash your hands).

If you have made every attempt to return home, but have difficulty due to rebooking your flight or arranging ground transportation please call us at 1-800-550-1295 to explain your situation and we will make arrangements to assist with your existing travel insurance policy.

⚠️If you return to Canada earlier than planned ...

If you bought a single-trip travel insurance policy from Travel Insurance Office Inc., and have not had a claim, you are entitled to a refund of the unused premium. To obtain a refund, please call our office at 1-800-550-1295 anytime Monday-Friday between 1:00pm-3:00pm EDT, and our agents will be happy to assist you. Alternatively you may also email us at info@travelinsuranceoffice.com anytime and our agents will get back to you as soon as possible. If you are emailing about a refund, you must state whether or not you have had a claim. There are no administration fees and no service charges for refunding any portion of your trip.
